What are the benefits of TASSA membership?
Building Trust — Successful TASSA registration and product verification means that you have passed our industry leading verification checks over your organisation and individual installers. This evidences to customers, insurers and the wider industry, that you meet our requirements and help to protect consumers. TASSA Database - TASSA registered installers are provided access to the innovative TASSA Database. All installations of TASSA verified products and systems must be entered onto the TASSA Database. This further protects your customers as it enables products and systems to be audited 24/7 and eliminates the need for paper certificates. Tools Access - All TASSA registered installers are provided with access to tools to perform a pre-installation stolen vehicle check and a vehicle clone check. Industry Representation — We work closely with stakeholders from across industry including installers, manufacturers, insurers, law enforcement, and government. We support you in being part of this network working to raise standards, promote best practice, innovate against theft technologies and protect the public. Bringing Opportunity — All registered members with no outstanding fee arrears will be listed on the TASSA Website and we will also direct customers who contact us directly to their nearest registered company.
What are some of the key responsibilities and obligations of members?
✓ At all times, each TASSA member must adhere to our defined standards, requirements, and expectations in order to maintain the quality and safe operation of all verified systems and products. ✓ Installation companies shall be responsible for the quality of their installers workmanship. Including installations performed by trainees or apprentice installers under their supervision. ✓ It is the responsibility of the installation company and each installer to ensure that the confidentiality of installations is not compromised in anyway by allowing unqualified people or the general public to view installations. An installer will not divulge any installation practices to third parties. ✓ Installation companies and each individual installer must ensure that every installation of a TASSA verified product is completed in accordance with all defined requirements and criterion. Such requirements may include that a product must be installed by a TASSA registered installer. ✓ You may not state that your company is 'TASSA Approved. You may use 'TASSA Registered' or 'TASSA Verified'.
Can TASSA Membership be revoked?

» We reserve the right to revoke TASSA membership if it is identified that an individual or company: - does not meet, or no longer meets our membership requirements and standards; or - has not paid their membership fee in a timely manner. » We will notify you of any such actions and you will have the right to appeal or complain if you feel that any actions taken are unfair, unreasonable, or unjustified. » If appropriate, we may also share our findings, evidence and actions with insurers, law enforcement, or any other third party who we deem to have a reasonable reason for being informed*. *For example, if we identify that a system, or sensitive information, has been used unsafely, unlawfully, or in any other unauthorised manner.
