The information on this page sets out the important features of the membership. This includes the benefits, application process, cost, and your responsibilities as a member.

Please make sure you have read and understood this information before proceeding.

Is this membership right for me?

>> You or your organisation are part of the wider vehicle security industry, including but not limited to:

• insurance
• law enforcement
• government

>> You want to work collaboratively, using state of the art tools to tackle vehicle crime effectively and efficiently.

What are the benefits of TASSA membership?
Collaboration - We know that knowledge sharing and listening is essential to effectively and efficiently tackle vehicle crime and protect consumers. TASSA Membership facilitates effective collaboration, knowledge sharing, and information sharing to make the industry more effective and agile. TASSA Database - Where appropriate, members may be provided with access to the innovative TASSA Database. All installations of TASSA verified products and systems must be entered onto the TASSA Database. This further protects your customers as it enables products and systems to be audited 24/7 and eliminates the need for paper certificates. Tools Access - Where appropriate, members may be provided with access to tools to perform a pre-installation stolen vehicle check and a vehicle clone check.
What are some of the key responsibilities and obligations of members?
✓ At all times, each TASSA member must adhere to our defined standards, requirements, and expectations in order to maintain the quality and safe operation of all verified systems and products. ✓ You may not state that you are 'TASSA Approved. You may use 'TASSA Registered' or 'TASSA Verified'.
Can TASSA Membership be revoked?

» We reserve the right to revoke TASSA membership if it is identified that an individual or company: - does not meet, or no longer meets our membership requirements and standards; or - has not paid their membership fee in a timely manner. » We will notify you of any such actions and you will have the right to appeal or complain if you feel that any actions taken are unfair, unreasonable, or unjustified. » If appropriate, we may also share our findings, evidence and actions with insurers, law enforcement, or any other third party who we deem to have a reasonable reason for being informed*. *For example, if we identify that a system, or sensitive information, has been used unsafely, unlawfully, or in any other unauthorised manner.
